You've gotta love what you do because passion is an essential ingredient in business. Without it, you can't possible thrive and grow, much less enjoy turning up to work each day. (Don’t use this word in your marketing though. It’s a personal thing.) |

It's action that actually counts. Just saying you're going to do something or writing down goals doesn't produce results. You need to have a go. |

Don't be afraid to let your personality show. Lots of people in business fear showing their real face to their customers. They're afraid of being seen as unprofessional. This is so not true. People buy from people they like and can relate to. |

Don't be afraid of taking risks or being different. So many people just follow the crowd and do what others do in their industry for fear of rejection. That's why everyone ends up with a "me too" business and the customer loses out. |

Marketing is an ongoing process. There's never an end to this activity and you'll never really "arrive" anywhere. Just keep going and enjoy the ride! |
